What happens next

• Within 5 working days. We acknowledge your request and tell you if we need anything further to verify your identity.
• Within one month. We respond in full. If the request is complex we may extend this by up to two months, and we will explain why.
• No charge. Requests are free unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we will explain before charging anything.

If you are unhappy with our response

You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. We would ask you to raise it with us first so we have a chance to put it right.
